During high season students might have lessons in the mornings, afternoons, or a combination of both. Students who wish to study on this programme for more than 23 weeks can join the Diploma of General English Course. If a beginners level group is not available to join, students will be offered 8 hours per week of one-to-one lessons until they can join a suitable class. Maximum flexibility. English with time to explore. General English is the most flexible course at Kings. With 3 hours of lessons each day you are free to explore your new city with new friends. You can start your General English course online before you join your class at the school. The content and schedule will be the same. Students booking 12 weeks or more qualify for up to 4 additional guided/facilitated study sessions each week. If a beginners level group is not available to join, students will be offered 8 hours per week of one-to-one lessons until they can join a suitable class. The Intensive Course is the school’s most popular course, as it’s the best way to develop deep fluency in English in the shortest possible time. You will maximise your fluency in the shortest possible time, as well as experience British culture, all while you learn with other international students from all over the world. Special Interest Groups (SIGs)* As well as your General English classes you can choose from a range of Special Interest Groups (SIGs). These are included in the course price. These develop your specialist skills in English or give you experience of subjects which interest you. They will help you use English in practical situations for study, work, or cultural interest. The Diploma of English courses are the school’s best value courses, as you can immerse yourself in English for up to 48 weeks and you’ll learn, live and think like a native English speaker. You will maximise your fluency in the shortest possible time, as well as experience British culture, all while you learn with other international students from all over the world. Students now have the possibility to book the Diploma of English (24+ week course) with a 20 lesson option – at reduced prices and added progress services from the academic team.

20 lessons General English and 8 lessons IELTS preparation per week. Students wishing to take the IELTS test must complete their registration themselves online. This course is aimed at students who need to improve the key language skills needed to score as high as possible in all part of the IELTS exam. It combines general English with dedicated IELTS exam preparation lessons. The IELTS preparation courses at Kings combine the best of both worlds. You’ll develop core English fluency and get expert preparation for the exam through specialist IELTS-focused lessons. Depending on your requirements and preferences, you can choose from a range of different in-school and online programmes.

Kings is an examination centre for Cambridge Advanced Certificate. Course includes 20 General English lessons and 8 exam preparation lessons per week. Minimum of 5 hours of homework per week. Duration of programme by start dates: 4 weeks: 6th May, 30th June, 28th July or 17th November 10 weeks: 6th January 12 weeks: 10th March, 22nd September This course is for students who need to improve the key language skills needed to score as high as possible in all parts of the Cambridge English. You’ll develop core fluency and get expert preparation for your chosen exam through specialist Cambridge exam-focused lessons. The Cambridge English Advanced preparation course is taught by specialist and experienced teachers. The course syllabus has been specially designed to maximise students’ exam success and covers all papers of the exam. Students will be given regular homework and will be expected to complete at least five hours of assignments each week.
